Pork and Apple Cider Sausage Bake

  • 550g watties Just Add Devilled Sausages simmer sauce
  • 8 thick pork sausages
  • 1 Apple cored and sliced
  • 1/2 cup apple cider or apple juice

Crockpot/Slow Cooker

  1. Heat a non stck frying- pan and brown the sausages. Remove from the pan and place in a pre-warmed slow cooker.
    Layer the apple slices on the sausages
  2. Mix together Just Add Devilled sausages simmer sauce mix and apple cider/juice. Pour over the sausages. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours. Serve with mashed potato and seasonal vegetables


Oven Bake method

  1. Follow steps 1 and 2, adding an extra 1/2 cup of apple cider/juice, and place in a casseroll dish. Cover and cook in a 180c oven for 30 to 40 mins or until sausages are cooked
