Pork and Apple Cider Sausage Bake

prep time 10 mins cooking time 5 to 6 hours slow cooker or 40 mins oven cook

Ingredients

  • 550g watties Just Add Devilled Sausages simmer sauce
  • 8 thick pork sausages
  • 1 Apple cored and sliced
  • 1/2 cup apple cider or apple juice

Crockpot/Slow Cooker

  1. Heat a non stck frying- pan and brown the sausages. Remove from the pan and place in a pre-warmed slow cooker.
    Layer the apple slices on the sausages
  2. Mix together Just Add Devilled sausages simmer sauce mix and apple cider/juice. Pour over the sausages. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours. Serve with mashed potato and seasonal vegetables

 

Oven Bake method

  1. Follow steps 1 and 2, adding an extra 1/2 cup of apple cider/juice, and place in a casseroll dish. Cover and cook in a 180c oven for 30 to 40 mins or until sausages are cooked

Spaghetti Bolognese

Ingredients

  • Jar of Leggos red wine Bolognese chunky pasta sauce
  • 400g lean beef mince
  • Spaghetti or pasta
  • 250g cheese

Cooking Directions

  1. Brown 400g lean mince beef in a saucepan,
  2. Add contents of jar and heat on a medium setting until hot, stirring occasionally
  3. Cook pasta of your choice

Microwave

  • Brown 400g lean mince beef in a saucepan,
  • Pour contents of jar into a microwave safe container, cover and cook on high for to 4 mins, stirring once.
  • Cook pasta of your choice

Mince Chow Mein

15 mins prep 10 mins cook

Ingredients

  • MAGGI mince chow mein sachet
  • 1 packet MAGGI 2 minute noodles
  • 400g lean beef mince
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 3 cups sliced cabbage
  • 3 cups sliced mixed vegetables

Stove top

  1. Cook Maggi 2 minute noodles according to directions on the packet, without adding flavor sachet,drain, reserve
  2. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan or wok, add mince, cook 2 mins. Add onion cabbage and vegetables, cook a further 2 mins
  3. Add combined 1 cup (250ml) water and MAGGI recipe base, bring to the boil and stir through reserved noodles

Beef Stroganoff

  • MAGGI Beef stroganoff sachet
  • 500g mince
  • 1 large onion (sliced)
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 2 Tbsp sour cream

Stove top 10 mins prep 30 mins cook

  1. Heat a tsp oil in the pan, brown beef, add the onion and mushrooms cook 2 mins
  2. Add combined 1 1/2 cup (330 ml) water and MAGGI recipe base. Bring to boil stirring
  3. Cover and simmer 20 mins or until beef is tender
  4. Stir through sour cream

Oven 10 mins prep 45 mins cook

  1. Preheat oven to 200 c / 180 c fan forced
  2. Place beef, onions and mushrooms in oven proof dish.
  3. Stir in combined 3/4 cup(190 ml) water and MAGGI recipe base
  4. Cover and cook for 45 mins, or until beef is tender stirring once during cooking
  5. Stir in sour cream.

Serve with cooked pasta and steamed green vegetables.

Mediterranean Meatballs

15 mins prep   20 mins cook

Ingredients

  • MAGGI Meaditeranean Meatballs sachet
  • 500g lean beef mince
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 a cup packaged breadcrumbs
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 400g can chopped tomatoes

Stove top

  1. Mix together mince, egg and breadcrumbs, shape into 16 balls each approximately 5cm in diameter.
  2. Heat 2 tsp oil in pan, brown meatballs, add onion cook 2 mins
  3. Add combined tomatoes,1/4 cup (60ml) water and MAGGI recipe base. Bring to boil, cover and simmer 10 mins or until meatballs are cook through, stir occasionally

Serve with cooked pasta and steamed vegetables

Cook in bag Roast Chicken with vegetables

Ingredients

  • Continental Classic Roast Chicken cook in bag sachet
  • 8-10 chicken drum sticks or whole chicken
  • 3 Large carrots
  • 6 medium potatos
  • Green vegies

Cooking Instructions

  1. No need to heat the oven. on a non heated oven proof dish or tray, place the chicken into the bag. Add the peeled and chopped carrots and potatos. season with recipie dase (comes in a sachet in the bag) Close bag using tie
  2. Support bag with your hands and gently mix to coat evenly with recipie base. Lie bag sideways ensuring ingredients are evenly spaced.
  3. Roast at 180 c (fan forced 170 c) for 1 hour on lowest shelf of oven. Allow enough room for the bag to expand without touching oven walls, heating elements or other shelves. Remove from oven, rest in bag for 15mins before serving

Serve with Green vegies

Chicken Korma

prep 5 mins  cooking 10 mins

Ingredients

  •  Taste of India chicken korma simmer sauce 
    (comes with) Korma whole spice sachet, Korma masala sachet
  •  1 tsp Almond flakes
  •  1 tsp Sultanas
  •  Fresh cream
  •  Rice

Cooking Method

cook rice to packet directions

  •  Heat 2 tsp of cooking oil in a medium sized saucepan add sachet of Korma Whole Spice.
  •  Add chicken cubes, saute the meat until cooked through and brown, (It will take approx 2-3 mins)
  •  Pour the whole pouch of Taste of India Korma Simmer Sauce over the cooking meat.
  •  Mix ingredients well, add water (if desired) and bring to boil, then reduce the heat.
    Add sultanas and Almond flakes, simmer for a further 4-5 mins
  •  Sprinkle the sachet of Korma Masala and mix well, sprinkle as much or little as desired
  •  Garnish with fresh cream and fresh coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot with rice and Naan or chapatis
