Beef Stroganoff

  • MAGGI Beef stroganoff sachet
  • 500g mince
  • 1 large onion (sliced)
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 2 Tbsp sour cream

Stove top 10 mins prep 30 mins cook

  1. Heat a tsp oil in the pan, brown beef, add the onion and mushrooms cook 2 mins
  2. Add combined 1 1/2 cup (330 ml) water and MAGGI recipe base. Bring to boil stirring
  3. Cover and simmer 20 mins or until beef is tender
  4. Stir through sour cream

Oven 10 mins prep 45 mins cook

  1. Preheat oven to 200 c / 180 c fan forced
  2. Place beef, onions and mushrooms in oven proof dish.
  3. Stir in combined 3/4 cup(190 ml) water and MAGGI recipe base
  4. Cover and cook for 45 mins, or until beef is tender stirring once during cooking
  5. Stir in sour cream.

Serve with cooked pasta and steamed green vegetables.
